Extra! Extra! Read All About It!

Surprise, surprise....Lon and I are looking at buying a home. No we have not stopped wandering, but we are enjoying our little town and I'm building up some good old fashioned experience (necessary for wandering on the open road, i.e. travel nursing). We have found one and made an offer. The ball is back in the seller's court...let's hope he bites! And being that I'm using one of my wonderful benefits of being a Navy Veteran, let's hope the VA appraisal comes out smelling of roses in our favor. Wish us luck, please!!! I can't wait to share the pics, but it's too early just yet. If it falls through for whatever reason, I will need my time of mourning before starting the search again. But we are thinking positively and there should be no reason it shouldn't go through without a hitch! (Other than the fact that we are (1) buying a home, (2) using a VA loan and (3) we want it really bad!)

The weather has been unseasonably beautiful...high's in the mid 60's, low's in the 40's...sunny...gorgeous. I was able to schedule myself off the floor for 10 days (2 days for a required class) and I have been loving that! Great time to look for a house and do the back-and-forth with the offers. I have another chunk of time coming up in a few weeks...hopefully I'll be using that for packing!!!

Wow! 3 months already????

Has it really been that long since I last posted? Crazy. I have been busy and will tell you all about it very soon. Have some big news to announce as well (No...it is not about a baby!) As you all know, life can be tough sometimes, but it is always good. Look forward to unloading on you guys, but right now I have to study. Learning how to bring someone back from the dead today. :)
